Day 14 & 15, CalDilla de la cueza.

Sunday Joel went from Hornillos de Camino to Caldillo de la Cueza 36.5 KM, 22.5 miles

He is stepping up his miles and going to get to his destination 6 days early and get to Santiago by Oct. 29.  He will take an earlier flight and be home now the evening of the 30th of Oct instead of the 5th of November.  Ollie and I are counting the days.  19 days as of today. 
The walk continues to be a dream for him. Every day is a gift of new opportunities to grow and learn and help others along the way. 
Our connection for the phone/Skype has been really bad the last few days.  I can get pictures from him, and once we were able to talk about 4 1/2 minutes.

These two pictures was a canal he walked along for quite awhile.  Although this was a pretty part of the walk on Saturday, it was warm, flies swarmed all over the place, and he went on the wrong trail for a total of 5 miles. Made for a more difficult day.
Because we haven't been able to talk really on Sunday, I don't have much information on today.  In approximately 2 - 3 hours he'll wake up and it will be Monday. He's attempting to make Leon (a bigger town by Wednesday).
